MEMBER OUTINGS PROGRAM:

SCGA Member Outings are open to members of all skill levels who want to participate in a no-pressure golf environment at a premier golf facility in Southern California.  Bring a group of friends or join us as a single and we will pair with you with some future golf friends!

 

FORMAT:

12 p.m. – 1 p.m.; Social & wine tasting

1 p.m. – 2 p.m.; FORE Her Golf Clinic with Dr. Alison Curdt, PsyD, PGA, LPGA LPGA T&CP Vice-President

2 p.m.; Range warm-up

3 p.m. shotgun; 9 holes casual play.

 

ONTARIO, Calif. (December 10, 2019) – PGA Professional, Dr. Alison Curdt has been named Southern California PGA Golf Professional of the Year (GPOY), an award that is one of the highest honors the PGA can bestow on a PGA Member.
 

Curdt is a dual PGA Master & LPGA Master Professional and has over 30 years of golf competition background as well. Curdt has competed in six LPGA Tour majors and qualified for her 7th to be held in June 2020 at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in Newtown Square, PA.

Owner of “Alison Curdt Golf” in Los Angeles, CA, she has earned countless teaching & professional awards such as the 2018 SCPGA Club fitter of the Year, 4-time LPGA Western Section Teacher of the Year, 2016 SCPGA Teacher of the Year, and 2015 LPGA T&CP National Teacher of the Year. Curdt was selected as an LPGA Top 50 Teacher in 2017 & 2019 and is a member of the SCPGA Teaching Hall of Fame.

Alison contributes to Golf Tips Magazine as a Top 25 instructor and has been featured in over a dozen separate segments on the Golf Channel. Golf Digest selected her twice as one of America’s Best Young Teachers and GOLF Magazine selected her as a Top 8 Teacher to Watch. Curdt is a clinical sport psychotherapist utilizing EMDR to help athletes achieve peak performance and overcome athletic traumas.

 

Alison’s teaching philosophy is a student-centered approach allowing her to use a vast approach of modalities to help students reach their goals. Extremely well versed in video analysis, club fitting, golf fitness, and the mental side of the game students can be assured all areas of their game will be benefited.

ENTRY FEE:

$50 (members); $50 (non-members).  All fees include golf, golf cart, range balls, 2 hours of instruction.

Sunday, May 24, 2020.

 

PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: 

Complete outing information including pairings, starting times, as well as other pertinent facility information, will be emailed after the close of entries.

   

PAIRING REQUESTS:

All pairing requests must take place during the registration process.

 

ATTIRE:

Golf attire is required in addition to any other club policies that may be in effect.

 

CANCELLATIONS:

To withdraw for any reason prior to the start of a SCGA Member Outing, a player must notify the SCGA Championships & Golf Operations Department at champs@scga.org or by calling (818) 980-3630. The player may also withdraw through his/her online player profile until entries close. If a player needs to withdraw on the morning of the event, notify the SCGA staff person through the golf shop staff at the host venue. Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
